The basics

What Are CBD Calming Gummies?

A CBD calming gummy is a chewable, pre-measured serving of hemp-derived cannabinoids, usually paired with a functional ingredient chosen for the same job. Ours is a Rainier Cherry gummy carrying 10mg of CBD, 10mg of CBG, and 100mg of ashwagandha. That is the whole product in one sentence. Everything else on this page is the long version.

The category grew up fast. A decade ago, buying CBD meant a dropper bottle, a guess at the dose, and a taste most people described politely. Gummies solved three problems at once: the dose is fixed, the flavor is pleasant, and nothing about carrying one requires explanation. You can keep a bottle in a desk drawer next to the mints and nobody asks a question.

A Simple Definition Of Calming Gummies

Calming gummies are edibles formulated around a wind-down effect rather than a wake-up one. The label usually pairs a cannabinoid blend with a botanical or amino acid, whether ashwagandha, L-theanine, lemon balm, chamomile, or sometimes magnesium. The word calming is not a regulated term, so it tells you about intent, not potency. That is exactly why the ingredient panel matters more than the front of the bottle.

When someone asks us what calming gummies are, the honest answer is: a delivery format. The format is what makes the routine stick. The formula is what makes the routine worth keeping.

What Goes Into A Cannabinoid Calming Gummy

Strip a good calming gummy down and you get four layers.

The cannabinoids. CBD almost always, and increasingly a minor cannabinoid alongside it. CBG in daytime-leaning calm formulas, CBN in nighttime ones, CBC in a few. Ours runs a 1:1 CBD to CBG ratio.

The functional ingredient. The thing that makes it a calming gummy rather than a plain one. Ashwagandha in our gummies. L-theanine, lemon balm, passion flower, and chamomile are the other common choices across the category.

The base. Pectin or gelatin, a sweetener, an acid. Ours uses organic tapioca syrup, organic cane sugar, pectin, and citric acid, which is what keeps the gummies vegan and gives them a clean chew rather than a rubbery one.

The flavor and color. Real fruit and vegetable sources, or artificial ones. We use the former, which is why our Rainier Cherry looks like a cherry and not like a cough drop.

How CBD Calming Gummies Differ From Standard CBD Gummies

A standard CBD gummy is a single-cannabinoid delivery vehicle. It gives you a set number of milligrams and nothing else. A calming gummy adds a second cannabinoid and a botanical chosen to work in the same direction, which is where the formulation decisions actually live.

The difference shows up in three places. Potency per gummy, because a calming formula usually splits its cannabinoid load across two compounds instead of loading all of it into CBD. Serving size, because functional ingredients like ashwagandha have their own effective ranges, 100mg per serving in our case. And timing, because calm-oriented gummies are usually built for a specific window in the day rather than for any time you happen to think of it.

Why People Choose Gummies Over Oils And Tinctures

The most common answer we hear is the least complicated one: gummies taste good and tinctures do not. But there are real functional reasons too.

Gummies are pre-dosed, so there is no dropper math and no guessing whether you filled the pipette to the line. They are portable in a way a glass bottle is not. They are discreet, since nobody watching you eat a gummy assumes anything. And they are consistent, because every piece in the bottle carries the same milligram load from the same batch.

Tinctures win on speed and on precision. A water-soluble tincture held under the tongue reaches you faster than something that has to be digested first, and a dropper lets you move in increments a gummy cannot. Most people who use both end up assigning them different jobs, which is a pattern worth stealing.

Are Calming Gummies The Same As Sleep Gummies?

No, and the difference is the ingredient list, not the marketing.

Sleep gummies are usually built around CBN, melatonin, or both. Our CBD Dream Blue Raspberry Doozies carry 10mg CBD, 5mg CBN, and 2.5mg melatonin per piece, and they are meant for the last hour of the evening. Melatonin is a sleep-timing signal. It is not a calm ingredient, and taking it at two in the afternoon is a bad idea for reasons that have nothing to do with hemp.

Calming gummies are built to be usable while you are still awake and still have things to do. Ours use CBG rather than CBN and skip melatonin entirely, which is what makes them a daytime-viable option. If your goal is the hour before bed, the Dream line is the better fit. If your goal is the eight hours before that, this is the page you want.

Calm Gummies vs Calm Chews vs Softgels

You will see all three words on CBD labels, and they mean roughly the same delivery method with different textures. Chews tend to be denser and are more common in the pet category. Softgels are capsules with an oil fill; they are flavorless and swallow like a vitamin, which some people prefer. Gummies sit in the middle: chewable, flavored, pre-measured.

None of these formats is stronger than the others by nature. A 25mg softgel and a 25mg gummy carry the same 25mg. What changes is onset, taste, and how likely you are to actually take it every day.

What "Calm" Actually Means On A Label

Here is where we want to be careful, because this is a wellness product and not a medicine.

Calm on a hemp label describes what the formula is oriented toward, not a guaranteed outcome. It is not a claim that the product treats anything. Cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid system, a signaling network that shows up throughout the body, and a great deal of research is still underway on what that means in practice. Ashwagandha has a long history in traditional wellness practices and has become a widely used adaptogen in modern routines.

What we can tell you is what is in the bottle, in what amount, verified by a third-party lab, and what people generally describe when they use it: something closer to a softer edge on a busy day than a switch being flipped. If a brand promises you more than that, read the fine print.

The Short Version

CBD calming gummies are pre-dosed hemp edibles built around a wind-down effect. Ours pair 10mg CBD and 10mg CBG with 100mg of ashwagandha in a THC-free Rainier Cherry gummy, made by a team that has been formulating hemp products in Washington State since 2015. If you want the specifics on dosing, timing, testing, legality, flavor, and storage, keep reading. It is all below.

Inside the blend

The Calm Formula: CBD, CBG And Ashwagandha

Inside The Green Revolution Calm Formula

We have made millions of gummies. That number is not a brag, it is a manufacturing fact, and it is the reason we can be specific about every line on the panel. Here is what a single Calm gummy is carrying and why each piece is there.

10mg CBD Per Gummy

Cannabidiol is the anchor. Ten milligrams is a deliberate starting point rather than a headline number. It is enough to be meaningful for most people and small enough that two gummies is a reasonable next step instead of a leap. Plenty of brands sell 25mg and 50mg gummies, and there is nothing wrong with those. But a 10mg building block gives you a formula you can scale in halves and doubles without redesigning your routine.

10mg CBG Per Gummy

Cannabigerol is often described as the parent cannabinoid, because CBGA is the precursor molecule the plant converts into the other cannabinoid acids as it matures. That means mature hemp contains very little of it, and extracting a usable amount takes either specific cultivars or careful timing at harvest. CBG is non-intoxicating, like CBD, and it has become a popular pairing in daytime-leaning calm formulas. Running it at a true 1:1 with CBD was a formulation choice, not a rounding artifact.

100mg Ashwagandha Per Serving

Withania somnifera, to use the botanical name. Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb with a long history in traditional wellness practices, especially across South Asia, and its roots have been used for centuries by people looking for a more centered, steady way through their day. In modern routines it has become a go-to companion for the slower moments. One hundred milligrams per serving is the amount we settled on for a gummy meant to be taken daily rather than occasionally.

A Rainier Cherry Flavor Made With Real Fruit

Rainier cherries are a Washington crop, which is a nice coincidence for a Washington company. The flavor is sweet-tart and closer to a fresh cherry than to a candy cherry, and there are no artificial colors or flavors involved in getting there. If you have ever been put off by the metallic aftertaste some hemp edibles carry, this is the part of the formula that was designed to fix it.

THC-Free By Design

No detectable THC. Not under the legal limit, but non-detectable on the certificate of analysis. That decision closes off some of the entourage-effect argument you will hear made for full spectrum products, and we made it anyway, because a calm product that comes with a drug-test asterisk is not actually calming. More on that in the legality section below.

Organic Tapioca Syrup, Organic Cane Sugar, And Pectin

The base is short on purpose. Organic tapioca syrup and organic cane sugar do the sweetening. Pectin, a fruit-derived gelling agent, does the setting, which is what makes these gummies vegan rather than gelatin-based. Citric acid balances the sweetness and keeps the flavor bright. Natural colors come from fruit and vegetable sources.

What Is Not In The Gummies

No artificial colors. No artificial flavors. No high-fructose corn syrup. No gelatin. No THC. No melatonin, which matters if you want to take these during the day. Sometimes the formula is the absence.

Vegan, Gluten-Free, And Non-GMO

The pectin base makes them vegan. There is no wheat, barley, or rye anywhere in the ingredient list. If you are managing a specific dietary restriction, the full panel is printed on every bottle and posted with the batch COA, so you are never working from a marketing summary.

Servings Per Container

One gummy is one serving. The bottle tells you exactly how many servings you are getting and what the total cannabinoid load is across the container, so comparing price per milligram between products is arithmetic rather than guesswork. We would rather you do that math than not.

Why 1:1 Instead Of A Higher CBD Ratio

A true 1:1 means the minor cannabinoid is part of the formula, not a garnish.

Most gummies on the shelf load nearly all of their cannabinoid content into CBD and add a few milligrams of a minor cannabinoid for the label. We went the other way. A true 1:1 CBD to CBG blend means the total cannabinoid content per gummy is 20mg, not 10mg with decoration.

The compounds

The Cannabinoids In A Calm Routine

Hemp produces more than a hundred cannabinoids. Four of them come up constantly in the calm and relaxation category, and it is worth knowing the difference before you compare two labels.

CBD (Cannabidiol)

The one everyone knows. CBD is non-intoxicating, which means it will not get you high, and it is the most researched of the plant's non-THC compounds by a wide margin. It shows up in oils, tinctures, capsules, topicals, balms, beverages, and, most popularly, gummies. Hemp-derived CBD with no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight was federally legalized under the 2018 Farm Bill.

CBG (Cannabigerol)

The parent cannabinoid. Non-intoxicating. Present in small amounts in mature hemp, which historically made it expensive to isolate, though cultivation has caught up. CBG has become a common pairing in daytime formulas because people describe it as clear rather than heavy. It is the second cannabinoid in our Calm gummies.

CBC (Cannabichromene)

Another non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid, less common on shelves than CBD or CBG. It is the partner cannabinoid in our Calm Tincture, which runs a 1:1 CBD to CBC blend with 1000mg of each per bottle.

CBN (Cannabinol)

The nighttime one. CBN forms as THC ages and oxidizes, and it has built a reputation in the sleep category rather than the calm category. It appears in our CBD Dream Blue Raspberry Doozies at 5mg per piece alongside 10mg CBD and 2.5mg melatonin. If a calming gummy you are looking at is built on CBN and melatonin, it is a sleep gummy wearing a different hat.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)

The intoxicating one, and the one that is not in these gummies at all. Hemp products are federally limited to 0.3% THC by dry weight; ours go further and test non-detectable.

Minor Cannabinoids And The Entourage Effect

The entourage effect is the idea that cannabinoids and terpenes do more together than any one of them does alone. It is a well-supported hypothesis in the research literature rather than a settled fact, and you should be suspicious of anyone who describes it as proven. What is not in dispute is that full spectrum extracts contain a wider range of compounds than isolates do, and that formulators can build blends deliberately, which is what a 1:1 CBD to CBG ratio is.

Full Spectrum vs Broad Spectrum vs Isolate

Full spectrum keeps the plant's whole cannabinoid and terpene profile intact, including up to 0.3% THC. Full spectrum CBD oil and full spectrum CBD tincture products are popular for exactly that reason, and they are also the category most likely to complicate a drug test.

Broad spectrum keeps the range of minor cannabinoids and terpenes but removes the THC. It is the middle path. CBD isolate is CBD and nothing else, a crystalline powder, typically 99% plus pure, with no terpenes and no minor cannabinoids.

Our Calm products are THC-free, which puts them on the broad-spectrum-and-isolate side of that line. That is a trade we made on purpose.

Terpenes And Why They Matter

Terpenes are the aromatic compounds that give hemp, citrus peel, pine needles, and lavender their smell. They are not unique to cannabis, and they are increasingly credited with shaping the character of a given cultivar. In an edible, most of the terpene conversation is about the extract rather than the flavor you taste. The cherry in a Rainier Cherry gummy is fruit, not terpene chemistry.

The Endocannabinoid System, Briefly

Your body produces its own cannabinoids and has receptors that respond to them, distributed through the nervous system and beyond. That network is called the endocannabinoid system, and it is the reason plant cannabinoids have any effect at all. Research into how it works and what influences it is genuinely active and genuinely incomplete. We would rather point you at that honestly than pretend the science is finished.

How These Compounds Are Extracted

Cannabinoids are pulled from hemp biomass through CO2 or ethanol extraction, then refined, distilled, sometimes isolated, sometimes remixed to a target ratio. Water-soluble formats add a further step that changes how the finished product behaves in the body. Every stage introduces a place where quality can slip, which is why third-party testing at the end of the process is not optional.

Dosing

How To Take CBD Calming Gummies

This is the section most people actually came for. There is no universal dose, and any brand that gives you one is guessing on your behalf. What there is, is a sensible method.

Start Low. Stay Consistent.

Take one gummy. Give it a few days at that level before you change anything. If one is not doing what you hoped after four or five days, go to two. That is the entire protocol, and the reason it works is that cannabinoid response varies enormously between people. Body weight, metabolism, what you ate, how much sleep you got, and how often you use hemp products all move the needle.

Consistency matters more than size. A person taking 10mg every day at roughly the same time will usually have a better read on whether it is working than a person taking 50mg twice a month.

How Much CBD Should A Beginner Start With?

For most adults new to hemp, 10mg to 25mg is a reasonable starting range. One Calm gummy puts you at 10mg CBD plus 10mg CBG, which is 20mg of total cannabinoid content and lands comfortably in that window. Two gummies doubles it. Very few people need to go past that on day one, and there is no advantage to finding your ceiling in the first week.

Reading Potency Labels: 10mg, 25mg, 50mg

Potency claims on gummies refer to cannabinoid content per piece, not per bottle, unless the label says otherwise. A 1000mg bottle is a total-container number. Divide by the servings per container to get the per-gummy dose. A bottle advertising 2000mg or 3000mg is usually a tincture, where total volume makes the big number meaningful.

Compare products on milligrams per serving and price per milligram. Those two figures make almost every marketing comparison collapse into something you can actually evaluate.

Finding Your Dose

Write it down for a week. Date, time, how many gummies, what the day was like. It sounds fussy and it takes ninety seconds, and it will tell you more than any dosage chart on the internet, because the chart does not know you. Most people land somewhere between one and three gummies daily and then stop adjusting.

When To Take Calming Gummies

Because our Calm gummies contain no melatonin and no CBN, there is no wrong time of day. The common patterns:

  • Morning, with breakfast. For people who want a level baseline through a demanding day.
  • Early afternoon. The three o'clock stretch, before the second half of the day starts making demands.
  • Late afternoon, after work. The most common single answer we hear, the transition from work mode to home mode.
  • Evening, but not bedtime. If your goal is specifically falling asleep, the Dream line with CBN and melatonin is the better tool.

Can I Take Calming Gummies On An Empty Stomach?

You can. Many people do. Cannabinoids are fat-soluble, though, so taking a gummy with food, particularly food containing some fat, generally improves how much of it your body actually absorbs. If you find the effect underwhelming on an empty stomach, this is the first variable worth changing before you increase the dose.

How Long Do Calming Gummies Take To Work?

Edibles have to be digested before anything reaches your bloodstream, so onset is slower than a tincture held under the tongue. For most people the window is roughly thirty minutes to two hours, with the middle of that range being typical. A full meal beforehand pushes it later; an empty stomach pulls it earlier.

The single most common mistake with edibles of any kind is taking a second dose at the forty-minute mark because the first has not landed. Give it the full two hours before you decide it did not work.

How Long Does The Effect Last?

Generally several hours, and longer than a tincture, because digestion releases the cannabinoids gradually rather than all at once. Where a sublingual tincture front-loads its effect, a gummy tends to spread it. That is the actual functional trade between the two formats.

Should I Take One Every Day, Or Only When I Need It?

Both approaches are common and neither is wrong. Daily use is what most of our subscription customers do, and it is the approach that gives cannabinoids the most consistent presence in your routine. As-needed use makes more sense if your stress arrives in identifiable spikes, such as a travel day, a presentation, or a family week.

If you are on the fence, try daily for two weeks first. It gives you a baseline to compare an as-needed approach against.

Can I Take More Than One?

Yes. Two gummies is 20mg CBD and 20mg CBG with 200mg of ashwagandha, which is still a moderate serving by category standards. Increase in single-gummy steps and give each step a few days. There is no prize for getting there quickly.

Timing Around Food, Caffeine, And Exercise

Coffee and a calming gummy in the same hour is not a contradiction. Plenty of people pair CBD with their morning caffeine specifically to take the jitter off. After exercise is another common window, when the body is already winding down and a topical like Solace Relax Cream often gets used alongside.

Building A Routine That Holds

Anchor it to something you already do without thinking. Brushing your teeth, the first coffee, closing the laptop, feeding the dog. Products that get attached to an existing habit survive. Products that require you to remember a new one usually do not, which is why the bottle in the drawer stays full.

Choose your format

Calm Gummies Or Calm Tincture?

Both carry the Calm name. They are built differently and they behave differently.

What Is In Each

Calm Gummies. A 1:1 blend of CBD and CBG with 100mg of ashwagandha per serving, 10mg of each cannabinoid in a Rainier Cherry gummy. THC-free, all-natural, no artificial colors or flavors.

Calm Tincture. A 1:1 blend of CBD and CBC, with 1000mg of each cannabinoid per bottle. Water-soluble, fast-absorbing, and easy to take under the tongue or stirred into a drink. THC-free.

Absorption And Onset

The tincture is faster. Held under the tongue, a water-soluble formula begins absorbing through the tissue in your mouth rather than waiting on digestion, which is why we say feel it in minutes, not hours. A gummy has to go through your stomach first.

Water-Soluble Tinctures Explained

Cannabinoids are oils, and oil and water do not mix, which is a problem, because your body is mostly water. Water-soluble formulations solve that with emulsion technology that breaks the oil into particles small enough to disperse. The practical results are faster onset and better absorption than a standard oil-based tincture, plus the ability to stir it into coffee, tea, or a glass of water without it separating on top.

Precision Dosing With A Dropper

A dropper lets you move in increments a gummy cannot. If your ideal dose turns out to be somewhere between one and two gummies, the tincture is the format that can actually deliver it. It is also the better format for anyone starting deliberately small.

Taste, Texture, And Travel

The gummies win here and it is not close. A bottle of gummies goes in a bag without ceremony, needs no measuring, and tastes like cherry. A glass dropper bottle is a glass dropper bottle. If you travel constantly, that is a real consideration.

Why Many People Use Both

The pattern we see most often: tincture in the morning for the fast, adjustable start, gummies in the afternoon for the steady middle. Different jobs, same formula family. There is no interaction concern between the two beyond keeping your total daily cannabinoid intake somewhere you are comfortable with.

How CBD Calming Gummies Compare To Every Other Format

CBD comes in more delivery formats than any wellness ingredient has a right to. Here is how gummies stack up against the rest, honestly, including where they lose.

Gummies vs Tinctures

Covered above in detail. Short version: tinctures are faster and more adjustable, gummies are easier to keep taking. Absorption differs because sublingual delivery skips the digestive step that edibles cannot avoid.

Gummies vs Capsules And Softgels

Capsules and softgels are flavorless, which is either the main advantage or the main drawback depending on who you ask. They also tend to be the cheapest format per milligram, because there is no flavor system to build. Onset is similar to a gummy since both go through digestion. If you already take a daily vitamin, a softgel slots into that habit with zero friction.

Gummies vs Topicals, Creams, And Balms

Different category entirely. A topical like our Solace CBD Relax Cream works where you put it, a plant-powered option for the spots where the day tends to land: neck, shoulders, hands, lower back. It is lightweight, it absorbs, and it does not enter your bloodstream in any meaningful quantity. That is a feature, not a limitation. Topicals and gummies are not competitors; plenty of people use the cream on the shoulders and the gummy for everything else.

Gummies vs CBD Beverages

Drinks are having a moment, and water-soluble technology is the reason they work at all. They are fast, they are social, and they cost more per milligram than almost anything else. A beverage is a nice occasional format. A bottle of gummies is a routine.

Gummies vs THC Edibles

Fundamentally different products. THC edibles are intoxicating and regulated state by state. Hemp-derived CBD gummies are non-intoxicating and federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. If you have tried a THC gummy and found the experience more than you wanted, a THC-free calming gummy is a genuinely different thing, not a weaker version of the same thing.

Gummies vs Vapes And Flower

Inhalation is the fastest route there is, with effects in minutes, and the shortest-lasting. It is also the format with the most obvious drawbacks, and it is not a category we make products in. If speed is your priority and you would rather not inhale anything, a water-soluble tincture is the closest alternative.

The Everyday Moments Calm Was Built For

We did not design this formula for a crisis. We designed it for the ordinary friction that stacks up across a normal week.

The Morning That Starts Behind

Some days begin at a deficit. A calming gummy with breakfast is not going to reschedule your morning, but plenty of people describe it as taking the edge off the scramble.

Before A Presentation Or A Difficult Conversation

The classic use case. Take it ninety minutes ahead rather than five minutes ahead, because edibles need the runway. This is one of the situations where the tincture's faster onset genuinely wins.

The Three O'Clock Stretch

The middle of the afternoon is where a lot of people reach for a third coffee they did not need. A CBG-forward calm formula is a different lever to pull. It will not wake you up; it is not supposed to.

Travel Days

Airports, delays, middle seats, rental car counters. Gummies travel well and need no preparation. Keep them in the original labeled bottle, and see the legality section for why.

After A Long Shift

The transition from work mode to home mode is a real transition and a lot of people do not have a ritual for it. Many of our customers have made one gummy that ritual, taken somewhere between the car and the couch.

Sunday Evening

The particular flavor of Sunday night is well documented and universally recognized. This is one of the most common windows people describe.

Busy Family Weeks

School schedules, visiting relatives, three events in four days. Consistency is what helps here, which means starting the daily routine before the week gets loud rather than in the middle of it.

After A Workout

Post-exercise is a natural wind-down window. A lot of people pair the gummy with the Solace Relax Cream on whatever the workout asked the most from: shoulders, lower back, hands.

The Hour Before Bed

Fair use case, but the wrong product. The Dream line, with CBN and melatonin, is built specifically for that hour. Calm is built for the hours before it.

Quiet Time That Is Actually Quiet

The last one is the least dramatic and possibly the most honest. Sometimes the moment is a chair, a book, and nowhere to be for forty minutes, and the point is to be present for it.

Buying guide

How To Choose The Best CBD Gummies For Calm

Whether you buy from us or not, these are the seven things worth checking. They will save you money and disappointment in roughly equal measure.

  1. Potency per gummy, not per bottle. The big number on the front is usually total container content. A 1500mg bottle with 60 gummies is a 25mg gummy; a 1500mg bottle with 150 gummies is a 10mg gummy. Same front label, very different products.
  2. Cannabinoid type. Full spectrum, broad spectrum, or isolate, and if the label does not say, that is your answer. If a drug test is any part of your life, THC-free is the only comfortable choice.
  3. The functional ingredient and its amount. A calming gummy with 5mg of ashwagandha is a calming gummy in name only. Look for the amount, not just the presence. Ours is 100mg per serving.
  4. Third-party lab testing. Non-negotiable. A current certificate of analysis from an independent lab, matched to the batch number on your bottle, testing for both potency and contaminants.
  5. Ingredients and sweeteners. Organic tapioca syrup and organic cane sugar behave differently on a label than high-fructose corn syrup. Pectin makes a gummy vegan; gelatin does not.
  6. Price per milligram. Total cannabinoid content divided by price. It is the only way to compare across brands, and it is the number the marketing works hardest to obscure.
  7. Who actually makes it. A brand that owns its manufacturing can answer questions about the process. One that white-labels someone else's product often cannot.

Red Flags Worth Walking Away From

Cure claims of any kind. Health claims about specific conditions. No batch numbers. COAs older than a year, or COAs that do not match the product in front of you. Prices dramatically below the category, which usually means the milligram count is doing something creative. Reviews that all read like they were written by the same person on the same afternoon.

Questions Worth Asking Any Brand

Where is your hemp grown? Who does your testing? What is the batch number on this bottle and can I see its COA? Is the THC non-detectable or under the limit? What is your return policy if the flavor is not for me? A brand that answers those five easily is a brand worth buying from.

Quality & testing

Quality, Testing, And Transparency

Trust in this category is earned with documents, not adjectives. Here is our paperwork.

Third-Party Lab Testing On Every Batch

Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory, not by us and not by anyone with a stake in the result. Testing covers cannabinoid potency, so the milligrams on the label are the milligrams in the gummy, and it covers contaminants: pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbials.

Certificates Of Analysis, And How To Read One

A COA is the lab's report. It looks intimidating and it is not.

  1. Check the date. It should be recent and it should correspond to the batch you have.
  2. Check the batch or lot number. It should match the number printed on your bottle. This is the single most-skipped step and the most important one.
  3. Check the potency panel. Find CBD and CBG and confirm the per-serving numbers line up with the label.
  4. Check the THC line. On our products it should read ND, non-detectable, or below the limit of quantitation.
  5. Check the contaminant panels. You want to see pass across pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbials.

Our COAs are posted and linked from the product pages. If you ever cannot find the one matching your bottle, ask us and we will send it.

Batch Numbers And Labels

Every bottle carries a batch number, a manufacture date, a full ingredient panel, a supplement facts panel with cannabinoid content per serving, and servings per container. That is not us being generous; that is what a properly labeled product looks like, and the number of products in this category that skip half of it is genuinely surprising.

Hemp Grown And Formulated In Washington State

We have been formulating hemp products in Washington since 2015. That is a decade of process refinement, cultivar selection, and, bluntly, mistakes made early enough to have been fixed a long time ago. Our extraction, formulation, and manufacturing happen under our own roof and our own quality controls.

Award-Winning Edibles And Ten-Plus Years Of Formulation

We came to CBD from the edibles side rather than the supplement side, which shapes the products in ways you can taste. Texture, flavor release, and dose consistency across a batch are manufacturing problems before they are marketing problems. Ten-plus years of solving them is why our gummies chew the way they do.

Clean Manufacturing Practices

Production runs in a facility operating under food-safety practices, with documented procedures, controlled inputs, and batch records that let us trace any bottle back to its source material. Good manufacturing practices are boring and they are the entire game.

What Transparency Actually Costs

Publishing every COA means publishing the ones where a batch tested at 9.6mg instead of 10mg. We would rather do that than round numbers privately. Any brand that has never posted an imperfect number has either never had one or is not showing you all of them.

The Compliance Note We Are Required To Make

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Nothing on this page is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a conversation with a healthcare provider who knows your history.

Flavor & texture

Flavor, Texture, And What Goes Into A Great Gummy

Nobody sticks with a supplement that tastes bad. This part of the formula is not decoration.

Why Rainier Cherry

Rainier cherries are yellow-red, unusually sweet, and grown in Washington, including in the valleys not far from where we make these. The flavor profile is sweet with a tart finish, which is exactly what you want covering a cannabinoid extract. Cherry also handles the job better than most fruits, because the natural depth of the flavor gives the extract nowhere to hide.

The Flavors People Ask Us For

Blue raspberry is the most requested, which is why it is the Dream flavor. Beyond that, the wish list is remarkably consistent across the category: strawberry, strawberry lemonade, peach, mango, blackberry, huckleberry, black cherry, black currant, pomegranate, grape, lemon, lime, passion fruit, dragon fruit, mixed berry, and every citrus combination anyone has thought of. We read the requests. Some of them are in development.

Natural Colors From Fruit And Vegetable Sources

Color in a gummy comes from somewhere. Ours comes from fruit and vegetable concentrates rather than artificial dyes, which is why our colors are muted rather than neon. A gummy that glows is telling you something about its ingredient list.

Texture: Pectin vs Gelatin

Pectin gummies are firmer, cleaner-biting, and vegan. Gelatin gummies are chewier and more elastic, and they are made from animal collagen. Neither is better as a rule. We use pectin, which is a formulation decision that also happens to make the product suitable for more people.

Why Some CBD Gummies Taste Like Hemp

Because the extract is doing the talking. Full spectrum extracts carry more of the plant's terpene and chlorophyll character, which is grassy and distinctive and not for everyone. Distilled and refined extracts are far more neutral. A THC-free formula built on refined extract is the easiest one to make taste like fruit rather than like a field.

Sweetness Without Excess

Organic tapioca syrup and organic cane sugar, in amounts that make the gummy pleasant rather than dessert-like. There is no high-fructose corn syrup and no artificial sweetener. If you are watching added sugar, one gummy is a small number and it is printed on the panel.

Consistency Across A Batch

The hardest problem in edible manufacturing is not flavor, it is making the twelve-hundredth gummy identical to the first. Even distribution of active ingredients through the mix, controlled deposit weights, controlled cure. It is why potency testing is done on finished product rather than on the batch slurry.

Legality & testing

Legality, THC, And Drug Testing

The most common questions we get, and the ones with the most misinformation around them.

The 2018 Farm Bill In One Paragraph

The 2018 Farm Bill federally legalized hemp and hemp-derived products containing no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight, removing them from the controlled substances schedule. That is the legal foundation the entire CBD industry sits on, and it is why hemp-derived CBD can ship across state lines while cannabis products cannot.

State Laws Still Vary

Federal legality is not the whole picture. Individual states have their own rules on hemp products, and some of them have moved recently. A few restrict specific cannabinoids or product types. If you live somewhere with active hemp legislation, it is worth a check before ordering, and we keep our shipping restrictions current at checkout.

Are CBD Gummies Legal?

Hemp-derived CBD gummies containing no more than 0.3% THC are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. Ours contain no detectable THC at all, which puts them at the most conservative end of the category.

THC-Free vs Non-Detectable vs Under The Limit

Three phrases that get used interchangeably and should not be. Under the limit means the product contains THC, below 0.3% by dry weight. Legal, and still THC. Non-detectable (ND) means the lab's instruments found no THC at their limit of detection, which is what our COAs show. THC-free is a marketing phrase that should mean non-detectable and does not always. Check the COA rather than the front label.

Will CBD Gummies Show Up On A Drug Test?

Standard workplace drug screens look for THC metabolites, not CBD. A product with no detectable THC should not produce a positive result. That said, we cannot make a guarantee about any specific test, any specific threshold, or any specific person's metabolism, and full spectrum products, which do contain trace THC, genuinely can accumulate enough with heavy daily use to matter.

If your job involves testing, buy THC-free, keep the COA, and if the stakes are high, talk to your employer's policy rather than to the internet.

Is The Cannabinoid Content Psychoactive?

CBD, CBG, and CBC are non-intoxicating. They will not get you high. Non-intoxicating is the more precise term than non-psychoactive, since anything that affects how you feel is technically psychoactive, but the practical answer is that these gummies do not produce a high, at any dose on the label.

Traveling With CBD Gummies

Keep them in the original labeled bottle. Domestic travel with hemp-derived CBD products is generally permitted, and a bottle with a legible label, a batch number, and a brand on it removes ambiguity at a checkpoint. International travel is a different question entirely and depends on the destination's laws, which in some countries are strict. Check before you fly.

Age Requirements

Our products are for adults. We do not sell to anyone under 18, and we do not recommend hemp products for children. If a product is being considered for a minor, that is a conversation for a pediatrician, not for a landing page.

Expectations

What To Expect, And What Not To

Managing expectations is part of selling a product honestly.

What People Generally Describe

The most common description is subtle rather than dramatic. Something closer to a softer edge than a switch being flipped. People talk about the volume coming down a notch, about a shorter fuse getting slightly longer, about noticing at 6pm that the day did not follow them home. That is the register this product operates in.

What It Is Not

It is not sedating. There is no melatonin and no CBN in the Calm gummies, so drowsiness is not the intended effect and most people do not report it. It is not intoxicating. It is not a replacement for anything a healthcare provider has prescribed you, and it is not a treatment for any condition.

Possible Side Effects

CBD is generally well tolerated, and the side effects that do come up in research and in customer feedback are mild: drowsiness in some people, dry mouth, changes in appetite, and occasionally digestive upset, the last of which is more often about the gummy base than the cannabinoids. If anything feels off, reduce the dose or stop.

Interactions Worth Knowing About

CBD is processed by the same liver enzyme system that handles a long list of common medications, which means it can affect how quickly some of them are metabolized. This is the single most important practical caution in the category and it does not get said often enough.

If you take prescription medication of any kind, talk to your healthcare provider or pharmacist before adding a daily CBD product. This is not a formality. Bring the label with you so they can see the actual amounts.

Who Should Skip It

Anyone pregnant or nursing. Anyone under 18. Anyone whose healthcare provider has advised against it. Anyone on medication where an interaction has been flagged. Anyone about to have surgery, since discontinuing hemp products before a scheduled procedure is a reasonable precaution and your surgical team will have a view on the timing.

Will These Make Me Feel Drowsy?

Not by design. If you find they do, take them later in the day rather than earlier, and consider whether one gummy suits you better than two. Individual response varies more in this category than in most.

Can I Drive After Taking A Calming Gummy?

The gummies are non-intoxicating and contain no THC, so they are not an impairing product. That said, you know your own response better than we do, and the sensible advice for any new supplement is to see how it affects you before you get behind the wheel.

Does Tolerance Build?

Some people find their effective dose creeps up slightly over months; many do not. If you feel like the same amount is doing less than it used to, a short break of a few days is the usual approach before increasing.

Is Daily Use Fine?

For most adults, yes, and daily use is how the majority of our customers take it. CBD is not habit-forming in the way that word usually implies. If you are planning to take anything every day for months, that is worth mentioning at your next appointment, same as you would with any supplement.

Storage

Storage, Shelf Life, And Freshness

How To Store CBD Gummies

Cool, dark, dry. A cupboard beats a windowsill and a drawer beats a dashboard. Heat and direct light are what degrade cannabinoids over time, and heat is also what turns a bottle of gummies into one large gummy.

Do They Need Refrigeration?

No, but the fridge is a reasonable choice in a hot climate or a hot season. Keep them sealed if you do, since gummies will pick up moisture and, less charitably, the smell of whatever else is in there.

Will Gummies Melt In The Mail?

They can, in summer, in a hot truck. Pectin gummies are more heat-tolerant than gelatin ones, and our packaging accounts for it, but physics is physics. If a summer shipment arrives softened, letting the bottle sit in the fridge for an hour usually resolves it. If it arrives genuinely damaged, contact us and we will make it right.

Shelf Life And The Best-By Date

Every bottle carries a date. Cannabinoid potency declines slowly over time, so a gummy past its date is not dangerous, it is just gradually less potent. Stored properly, a sealed bottle holds up well for the period printed on it.

Signs A Gummy Has Turned

Sugar crystallization on the surface is normal and harmless. Significant hardening, discoloration, or an off smell means it has been stored badly or is well past date. When in doubt, replace it.

Keeping Them Away From Kids And Pets

They look like candy because they are candy-adjacent, and dogs in particular have no editorial judgment. Store the bottle out of reach and closed. If a pet gets into a bottle, call your veterinarian.

Where To Buy CBD Calming Gummies

The most reliable way to buy CBD calming gummies is directly from the company that makes them, which is what this site is. You get the current batch, the matching COA, the actual return policy, and a person to email if something is wrong.

Buying In Store

CBD has spread into pharmacies, grocery chains, wellness shops, dispensaries, and gas stations, and the quality range across those locations is enormous. If you are buying in person, the checklist is the same as online: batch number, COA availability, cannabinoid type, and a brand that exists outside that shelf. Retail locations carrying our products vary by region, and the store locator is the fastest way to check what is near you.

Online Marketplaces

Big marketplaces are inconsistent territory for hemp products, and counterfeit and expired inventory both show up. If you buy that way, buy from the brand's own storefront rather than a reseller.

Shipping, Subscriptions, And Returns

We ship across the United States, subject to the state restrictions noted at checkout. A subscription is the cheapest way to buy anything you take daily, and it can be paused, skipped, adjusted, or cancelled from your account at any time, with no phone call and no retention script. If a product is not right for you, contact us and we will sort out a return.

The four experiences

Calm Is One Of Four Experiences

We build products around what you want out of the day rather than around product categories. There are four.

Calm

CBD and CBG with ashwagandha. THC-free. Built for the middle of a demanding day and the transition out of it. That is this page.

Dream

CBD, CBN, and melatonin. Built for the last hour of the evening. The Blue Raspberry Doozies carry 10mg CBD, 5mg CBN, and 2.5mg melatonin per piece, and they are for nighttime wellness support and evening wind-down routines rather than for daytime use.

Focus

CBD and CBG paired with Lion's Mane, a daytime cannabinoid blend for the work that takes a little more from you. THC-free, fast-absorbing, clean. If your problem is attention rather than tension, start there.

Relief

Topical and targeted. Solace CBD Relax Cream is the plant-powered option for the spots where the day tends to land: neck, shoulders, hands, lower back. Lightweight, absorbs quickly, and built for active lifestyles and tired muscles.

Can You Combine Them?

Yes, and plenty of people do. Focus in the morning, Calm in the afternoon, Dream at night, cream as needed. Keep an eye on your total daily cannabinoid intake and build the stack gradually rather than all at once.

Which One Should You Start With?

If your day feels loud, start with Calm. If your evening is the problem, start with Dream. If concentration is the issue, start with Focus. If it is a specific spot on your body, start with the cream. If you genuinely cannot tell, start with Calm, since it is the most broadly useful of the four.

Pets

Calm For The Whole Household

CBD For Pets

Thunderstorms. Car rides. Vet visits. Fireworks. Pets have their own version of a long day, and the triggers are usually predictable enough to plan around. Our Bella & Max Water-Soluble CBD Pet Tincture is built for exactly those moments: 450mg CBD and 15mg CBG per bottle with wild-caught salmon omega-3, water-soluble for faster absorption, and non-detectable THC.

Why Pets Get Their Own Formula

Dosing for a forty-pound dog is not a scaled-down version of dosing for a person, and the delivery format matters more. A tincture can go straight onto food, which is the only administration method some dogs will tolerate. The salmon oil is there because it makes the tincture something a dog actually wants, and because omega-3 is worth having in the bowl regardless.

Never Give A Human Gummy To A Dog

Worth saying plainly. Human gummies contain sweeteners and ingredients that are not formulated for animals, and some sweeteners common in the wider candy category are genuinely dangerous to dogs. Use a product made for pets, and talk to your veterinarian before starting anything, particularly if your animal is on medication.

How Often

Follow the label for your pet's weight and start at the low end, same principle as with people. For predictable triggers like a storm front or a car trip, giving it ahead of the event rather than during it works better.

The routine

Building A Calm Routine Around The Gummies

A gummy is one input. It works better inside a routine than as a substitute for one.

Anchor The Dose To An Existing Habit

Stack it onto something automatic: the morning coffee, the end of the workday, the dog's dinner. Habits attach to other habits far more reliably than they attach to intentions.

Give It Two Weeks Before You Judge It

Cannabinoids are not a same-day verdict for most people. Two weeks of consistent daily use gives you something real to evaluate.

Pair It With The Boring Things That Work

Sleep, movement, water, daylight, and a gap between the last screen and the pillow. None of that is exciting and all of it moves the needle further than any supplement. A calm routine that includes a gummy will beat a gummy on its own every time.

Breathing, Because It Is Free

A slow exhale that lasts longer than the inhale is the cheapest wind-down tool available and it works in a parking lot. Four seconds in, six seconds out, ten times. Do it while the gummy is still in its thirty-minute window.

Track What Changes

The same ninety-second log from the dosing section applies here. Note the dose, the timing, and one word about the day. After three weeks you will have better information about yourself than any article can give you.

Know When To Ask For More Help

If daily stress is affecting your sleep, your work, or your relationships in a way a wellness routine is not touching, that is worth raising with a doctor or a licensed professional. Hemp products are a supplement to a good life, not a substitute for support you might need.

A Realistic First Two Weeks

Days one to three. You take one gummy at roughly the same time each day. You probably notice the flavor more than anything else. Some people report something in the first session and plenty do not, and neither outcome tells you much yet.

Days four to seven. The dose has had time to become a habit rather than a decision. This is the stretch where people either lock in the timing that suits them or realize they have been taking it at the wrong hour. If nothing at all has registered by day five, this is the point to try two.

The second week. The most common report is retrospective rather than immediate: noticing that a specific kind of afternoon has been less sharp, or that the transition home has been shorter. Quiet, and easy to miss if you are waiting for something loud.

The two-week decision. At this point you have enough information. Keep the dose, adjust it, switch to the tincture, or stop. All four are reasonable, and the only bad outcome is another eight weeks of not paying attention.

The wider category

The Other Ingredients You See In Calming Gummies

Ashwagandha is our functional ingredient. It is not the only one in the category, and if you are comparing labels it helps to know what the others are and what they are there for.

  • AshwagandhaAn adaptogenic herb with a long history in traditional wellness practices, especially across South Asia. It appears in our Calm gummies at 100mg per serving and pairs naturally with CBD and CBG.
  • L-TheanineAn amino acid found in green tea, and the reason a cup of tea feels different from a cup of coffee with the same caffeine content. Common in calm and focus formulas at 50mg to 200mg per serving.
  • Lemon BalmA member of the mint family, used in traditional European herbal practice for a very long time. Mild, pleasant, and unremarkable in the best sense.
  • Chamomile And Passion FlowerBoth are staples of the evening tea aisle and both migrate into gummy formulas regularly. Passion flower is more common in sleep-leaning blends than in daytime ones.
  • MagnesiumNot a botanical, but a mineral that appears in a growing number of calm and sleep formulas. Glycinate and citrate are the two forms you see most on labels.
  • MelatoninA hormone your body produces to signal the timing of sleep, not a calming ingredient. It belongs in a nighttime product, which is why it is in our Dream Doozies at 2.5mg per piece and not in the Calm gummies at all.
  • 5-HTPAnother ingredient that appears in evening formulas. It has real pharmacological activity and real interaction considerations, and it is one worth checking with a healthcare provider about rather than adding casually to a stack.
  • Lion's ManeA functional mushroom, and the third ingredient in our Focus formula alongside CBD and CBG. A daytime ingredient rather than a calm one.
  • Vitamins And Botanical ExtrasPlenty of gummies add B vitamins, vitamin D, or a proprietary blend. Proprietary blends are where amounts go to hide. We list ours individually.

Why We Kept The List Short

Every additional active ingredient is another variable, another interaction to consider, and another thing that has to be sourced consistently. Three actives, CBD, CBG, and ashwagandha, at meaningful amounts beats nine actives at token ones. Sometimes the formula is the absence.

Sorted out

Myths About CBD Calming Gummies, Sorted Out

Myth: CBD gets you high

It does not. CBD is non-intoxicating, and so are CBG and CBC. The compound responsible for the high associated with cannabis is THC, and there is none detected in these gummies. This is the single most persistent misunderstanding in the category and it costs a lot of people a product they would have liked.

Myth: All CBD gummies are basically the same

They are not, and the differences are measurable. Cannabinoid type, potency per piece, functional ingredient and its amount, extract quality, sweetener, gelling agent, testing frequency. Two gummies can carry identical front-label numbers and be materially different products.

Myth: A bigger milligram number on the bottle means a stronger gummy

Only if the servings per container are the same. The container total is a multiplication problem, not a potency claim. Always divide.

Myth: Hemp seed oil and CBD are the same thing

Hemp seed oil is pressed from seeds and contains no meaningful cannabinoid content. It is a fine cooking oil and a fine skincare ingredient. It is not CBD, and products that blur the two on the label are doing it deliberately.

Myth: If it is sold in a store, it has been vetted

Retail shelf space is bought, not earned, and the hemp category is not policed the way the pharmacy aisle is. The batch-number-plus-COA check is your vetting process, in a store or online.

Myth: You need to feel something dramatic for it to be working

The effect most people describe is quiet. Expecting a dramatic sensation is the fastest route to overshooting the dose and concluding the product does not work when the truth is you were listening for the wrong thing.

Myth: More CBD is always better

Response is not linear, and past a certain point additional milligrams stop adding much for a lot of people. The smallest effective dose is the goal, not the largest tolerable one.

Myth: CBD is unregulated, so nobody is testing anything

Manufacturers who care test constantly, and the good ones publish. The gap in the category is enforcement, not capability. That is exactly why third-party COAs exist and why we point at ours rather than at adjectives.

Glossary

A Plain-English Glossary Of CBD Terms

The category has more jargon than it needs. Here is the working vocabulary.

  • CannabinoidAny of the compounds produced by the cannabis and hemp plant that interact with the body's endocannabinoid system. CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN, and THC are all cannabinoids.
  • HempCannabis containing no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight. That number is the entire legal distinction between hemp and marijuana under federal law.
  • Hemp ExtractWhat comes out of the plant after extraction and before formulation. Hemp seed oil is a different thing entirely, made from seeds and containing no cannabinoids.
  • Full SpectrumAn extract retaining the plant's full cannabinoid and terpene profile, including trace THC.
  • Broad SpectrumFull spectrum with the THC removed.
  • IsolateA single cannabinoid, refined to near-purity, with everything else stripped away.
  • DistillateA refined extract concentrated through distillation. Cleaner in flavor than a crude extract, and the base for a lot of edibles.
  • Water-SolubleA formulation that disperses in water rather than separating from it, which generally means faster onset and better absorption.
  • PotencyHow much cannabinoid is present, expressed per serving or per container. Always confirm which.
  • Milligram (mg)The unit everything in this category is measured in. Ten milligrams of CBD is ten milligrams of CBD whether it is in a gummy, a capsule, or a dropper.
  • COA (Certificate Of Analysis)The third-party lab report for a specific batch, covering potency and contaminants.
  • Batch / Lot NumberThe code that ties your bottle to its COA. If they do not match, you are reading the wrong document.
  • Non-Detectable (ND)The lab found none of the compound at its limit of detection. On our COAs, this is what the THC line reads.
  • Entourage EffectThe hypothesis that cannabinoids and terpenes produce a different effect together than in isolation. Widely cited, still under study.
  • Endocannabinoid SystemThe body's own network of cannabinoid receptors and signaling molecules.
  • TerpenesAromatic compounds found in hemp and throughout the plant world. Responsible for how a cultivar smells.
  • SublingualUnder the tongue. A delivery route that bypasses digestion.
  • AdaptogenA botanical traditionally used to support the body's response to everyday stress. Ashwagandha is the best known.
  • DooziesOur name for our gummies. Now you know.
FAQ

Your CBD Calming Gummies Questions, Answered

What are CBD calming gummies?

CBD calming gummies are pre-dosed hemp edibles built around a wind-down effect. Ours pair 10mg of CBD and 10mg of CBG with 100mg of ashwagandha in a THC-free Rainier Cherry gummy. The gummy format matters because it fixes the dose, tastes good, and travels without ceremony, which is what makes a daily routine survive past week two.

What do CBD calm gummies do?

They deliver a measured amount of non-intoxicating cannabinoids plus an adaptogenic herb into your routine. What people generally describe is subtle rather than dramatic: a softer edge on a busy day. They are not a treatment for anything, and nothing on this page should be read as a medical claim.

Do CBD calm gummies have THC?

No. Our Calm gummies test non-detectable for THC on every batch, which is stricter than the 0.3% federal limit hemp products are allowed. The certificate of analysis for your batch will show it on the THC line as ND.

Are CBD gummies legal?

Hemp-derived CBD gummies containing no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. Ours contain no detectable THC at all. State rules vary and a few have changed recently, so if you live somewhere with active hemp legislation it is worth a check. Our checkout reflects current shipping restrictions.

Will CBD gummies show up on a drug test?

Standard workplace screens test for THC metabolites, not CBD. A product with no detectable THC should not trigger one. We cannot guarantee any individual test result, and full spectrum products, which do contain trace THC, genuinely can accumulate with heavy use. If testing is part of your job, buy THC-free and keep the COA.

How much CBD should a beginner start with?

Ten to twenty-five milligrams is a sensible starting range for most adults. One Calm gummy gives you 10mg CBD plus 10mg CBG. Stay there for four or five days before adding a second gummy. There is no advantage to finding your ceiling in week one.

How many calming gummies should I take?

Start with one. Most people settle between one and three per day. Increase in single-gummy steps and give each step several days before deciding.

How long do CBD gummies take to work?

Typically thirty minutes to two hours, because edibles have to be digested first. Food, particularly food with some fat, changes the timing and generally improves absorption. The most common mistake is taking a second gummy at forty minutes. Give the first one the full window.

How long does the calming effect last?

Several hours for most people. Edibles release gradually through digestion, so the effect is longer and flatter than a sublingual tincture, which arrives faster and tapers sooner.

When should I take CBD gummies for stress?

Whenever the pressure in your day actually sits. Because there is no melatonin or CBN in the Calm formula, there is no wrong hour. The three most common windows we hear are with breakfast, mid-afternoon, and the transition out of the workday.

Can I take calming gummies on an empty stomach?

Yes, though cannabinoids are fat-soluble and absorb better alongside food. If the effect seems underwhelming, try taking it with a meal before you try taking more.

Are calming gummies the same as sleep gummies?

No. Sleep gummies are usually built on CBN, melatonin, or both. Our Dream Blue Raspberry Doozies carry 10mg CBD, 5mg CBN, and 2.5mg melatonin. Calm gummies use CBG, contain no melatonin, and are meant to be usable while you still have things to do.

Do calm gummies make you sleepy?

Not by design. Drowsiness is a possible side effect of CBD for some people, but there is nothing sedating in the formula. If you find they do, shift the timing later in the day or drop to one gummy.

Can I take these during the day?

Yes, that is what they were formulated for. No melatonin, no CBN, no THC.

Can I drive after taking calming gummies?

The gummies are non-intoxicating and THC-free, so they are not an impairing product. As with any new supplement, see how you respond before you get behind the wheel.

Are calming gummies safe to take daily?

For most adults, yes, and daily use is how the majority of our subscription customers take them. If you take prescription medication or have a health condition, check with your healthcare provider first. That is the real answer, not a disclaimer.

Are calming gummies addictive?

CBD, CBG, and CBC are not habit-forming in the way that word is usually meant, and there is no THC here. What can become habitual is the routine itself, which is generally the point.

Can I take calming gummies with other supplements?

Usually, and many people stack them with magnesium, a multivitamin, or an omega-3. The caution is medications rather than supplements: CBD is processed by liver enzymes that also handle a long list of prescriptions, which is why the conversation with a pharmacist or provider is worth having.

Can I take these if I am pregnant or nursing?

No. We do not recommend hemp products during pregnancy or while nursing.

Are CBD products suitable for children?

Our products are formulated and sold for adults. Anything involving a minor is a conversation for a pediatrician.

What are the side effects of CBD gummies?

CBD is generally well tolerated. Reported side effects are mild and include drowsiness in some people, dry mouth, changes in appetite, and occasional digestive upset. If something feels off, reduce the dose or stop.

What is CBG?

Cannabigerol, a non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid often called the parent cannabinoid, because the plant converts its acid form into the other cannabinoids as it matures. It is the second cannabinoid in our Calm gummies at a true 1:1 ratio with CBD.

What is CBC?

Cannabichromene, another non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid. It is the partner cannabinoid in our Calm Tincture, which carries 1000mg each of CBD and CBC per bottle.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

CBD is non-intoxicating; THC is the compound responsible for the high associated with cannabis. Hemp products are federally limited to 0.3% THC by dry weight, and ours test non-detectable. They are different compounds with different legal status and a very different experience.

What is ashwagandha and why is it in the formula?

An adaptogenic herb with a long history in traditional wellness practices, especially across South Asia. It has become one of the most widely used botanicals in modern calm-oriented routines, and it sits alongside CBD and CBG at 100mg per serving.

What is L-theanine?

An amino acid found in green tea, common in calm and focus formulas across the category. It is not in our Calm gummies, since ashwagandha is our functional ingredient, but you will see it on a lot of competing labels and it is worth recognizing.

How does CBD work in the body?

Cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid system, a signaling network of receptors and molecules distributed through the nervous system and beyond. Research into exactly how that plays out is active and genuinely incomplete, and we would rather say so than overstate it.

Are these gummies vegan?

Yes. They are set with pectin rather than gelatin, so there is nothing animal-derived in the formula.

Are the gummies gluten-free?

Yes. No wheat, barley, or rye in the ingredient list. The full panel is on every bottle and posted with the batch COA.

Are there any allergens in the gummies I should know about?

The ingredient list is short: organic tapioca syrup, organic cane sugar, pectin, citric acid, natural flavor and color from fruit and vegetable sources, hemp extract, and ashwagandha. Read the full panel on the bottle if you manage a specific restriction, and email us if anything is unclear.

What is the serving size?

One gummy is one serving: 10mg CBD, 10mg CBG, 100mg ashwagandha. Servings per container are printed on the bottle.

What flavor are the Calm gummies?

Rainier Cherry, sweet with a tart finish, made with natural flavor rather than artificial. Rainier cherries are a Washington crop, which felt appropriate for a Washington company.

Do they taste like hemp?

No. Full spectrum extracts carry the grassy, distinctly plant-like character people associate with hemp. A refined THC-free extract is far more neutral, which is why the cherry comes through clean.

Do you use artificial colors or flavors?

No. Colors come from fruit and vegetable sources and flavors are natural. It is why our gummies look muted rather than neon.

How should I store CBD gummies?

Cool, dark, dry, and sealed. Heat and direct light are what degrade cannabinoids and what turn a bottle of gummies into one large gummy. Refrigeration is optional and reasonable in hot weather.

Will CBD gummies melt in the mail?

They can in summer heat. Pectin gummies hold up better than gelatin ones and our packaging accounts for it, but if a shipment arrives softened, an hour in the fridge usually fixes it. If it arrives damaged, contact us.

How long do they last?

Every bottle has a date printed on it. Potency declines slowly over time rather than falling off a cliff, so a gummy past date is less potent rather than unsafe. Stored properly, sealed bottles hold their potency well through the printed period.

Are your products third-party tested?

Every batch, by an independent lab, for both cannabinoid potency and contaminants: pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbials. The COAs are posted and linked from the product pages.

How do I read a certificate of analysis?

Check the date, match the batch number to your bottle, find CBD and CBG on the potency panel and confirm they match the label, check that the THC line reads ND, and confirm the contaminant panels all read pass. That is the whole process.

Where is your hemp grown and where are the gummies made?

We have been formulating hemp products in Washington State since 2015, and manufacturing happens under our own roof and our own quality controls rather than through a white-label partner.

What is the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum, and isolate?

Full spectrum keeps the plant's whole profile including trace THC. Broad spectrum keeps the range of minor cannabinoids and terpenes but removes the THC. Isolate is a single cannabinoid refined to near-purity. Our Calm products sit on the THC-free side of that line.

Should I choose the gummies or the tincture?

Gummies if you want a fixed dose, good flavor, and something that travels. Tincture if you want faster onset, precise dropper control, or the ability to stir it into a drink. Many people use both and assign them different times of day.

Do gummies and CBD oil absorb differently?

Yes. A sublingual tincture begins absorbing through the tissue under your tongue and skips the digestive step, so it arrives faster and tapers sooner. A gummy is digested first, so it takes longer to arrive and lasts longer once it does.

Can I use the Calm gummies with the Focus or Dream products?

Yes, and a lot of people run Focus in the morning, Calm in the afternoon, and Dream at night. Build the stack gradually and keep an eye on your total daily cannabinoid intake.

What is the difference between the Calm gummies and Solace Relax Cream?

The gummies are systemic and the cream is local. Solace CBD Relax Cream is a plant-powered topical for the spots where the day tends to land: neck, shoulders, hands, lower back. It is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and does not enter the bloodstream in any meaningful amount. Different tools, no conflict in using both.

Is CBD right for my dog?

Possibly, but use a product made for pets rather than a human gummy. Our Bella & Max Water-Soluble CBD Pet Tincture carries 450mg CBD and 15mg CBG with wild-caught salmon omega-3 and non-detectable THC, and it goes straight onto food. Talk to your veterinarian first, especially if your animal is on medication.

How often can I give my dog the pet tincture?

Follow the label for your pet's weight and start at the low end. For predictable triggers, a storm front, a car ride, a vet visit, giving it ahead of the event works better than giving it during.

Where can I buy CBD calming gummies?

Directly from us is the most reliable route: current batch, matching COA, real return policy. CBD is also carried across pharmacies, wellness shops, and other retail locations, where quality varies enormously. The same checklist applies wherever you buy.

Do you offer a subscription?

Yes, and it is the cheapest way to buy something you take daily. Pause, skip, adjust, or cancel from your account whenever you want. No phone call required.

Do you ship to my state?

We ship across the United States subject to current state restrictions, which are reflected at checkout. If your state is restricted you will see it before you pay rather than after.

What is your return policy?

If a product is not right for you, contact us and we will sort it out. The current window and process are on the returns page.

How do I know how much CBD is right for me?

Start at one gummy, hold for four or five days, and adjust in single-gummy steps. Write down the dose, the time, and one word about the day. After three weeks that log will tell you more about your own response than any chart could.

What if the gummies do not work for me?

Adjust the dose, try taking them with food, or try the tincture instead. If none of that changes anything, hemp may not be your ingredient, which is a legitimate outcome. Contact us about a return rather than leaving the bottle in a cupboard.
